Early Halloween Costumes

As we know the New Year has just begun but its alright to prepare for the future occasions, especially a celebration when we need to buy costumes. A holiday celebration like Halloween is one of the occasions that we need to have our own costumes. The Halloween costumes are outfits worn on or around October 31, which is Halloween. Although popular stories of Halloween claim that the practice goes back to ancient celebrations of Samhain, in fact there is little primary documentation of masking or costuming on Halloween before the twentieth century. What sets Halloween costumes apart from costumes for other celebrations or days of dressing up is that they are often designed to imitate supernatural and scary beings. Costumes are traditionally those of monsters such as vampires, ghost costume, skeletons, witches, and devils.
Halloween has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holy day of All Saints. It is largely a secular celebration, but some Christians and Pagans have expressed strong feelings about its religious overtones. The day is often associated with the colors orange and black, and is strongly associated with symbols such as the jack-o'-lantern. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, visiting haunted attractions, reading scary stories, and watching horror movies that need costumes which fit each rules.
